Arthur Melo has posted a three-word message on Twitter after he completed a season-long loan move to Liverpool from Juventus in the twilight of the summer transfer window – easing the Merseyside club’s midfield crisis.
Liverpool desperately needed midfield additions. Injuries to Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Thiago has forced Liverpool to use the likes of Harvey Elliott and James Milner more so, than previously expected.
Reports emerged on deadline day that Liverpool were in talks to complete a shock move for the Brazil ace. The 26-year-old completes a season-long loan move, without a permanent option, after two years with Italian side Juventus.
With the move finally confirmed in the final hour of deadline day, and the summer window, Arthur responded on Twitter. He posted a three-word on Twitter, underlining his delight at a move to Liverpool this summer from Juventus.

It sees Liverpool add a midfielder with experience at the top level, for both club and country. Naturally a holding midfielder, he will initially be cover for fellow Brazilian Fabinho. But he is also able to play slightly further ahead.
Similar, then, to both Jordan Henderson and James Milner. Arthur is unlikely to start when every midfielder is fit at Anfield but he offers top-quality cover for the Reds, when they desperately need it. A really solid signing for the Reds.
With Jones, Thiago, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita still sidelined, it is likely that Arthur will come straight into the side. He could give Henderson a rest, with the Reds skipper said to have suffered an injury in the 2-1 win over Newcastle.
