Arthur Masuaku reacts on Twitter after signing new West Ham contract

Arthur Masuaku has provided West Ham United fans with another reason to be cheerful this summer.

Arthur Masuaku has taken to Twitter to comment on the announcement that he has signed a new contract at West Ham, and the full-back has expressed how exciting it is to be at the London Stadium at the moment.

Manuel Pellegrini appears to have enjoyed a very impressive window with the Hammers. The transfer record has been broken in the deal to sign Sebastien Haller, while Pablo Fornals has also arrived to strengthen the midfield.

A number of fringe players have also been offloaded. Their pre-season results have been mixed, but there is arguably plenty of reason for the fans to be cheerful ahead of their Premier League season-opener with Manchester City next month.

And Masuaku has provided another reason for fans to be pleased at this stage of the summer, with the club announcing that he has signed a new contract that is set to run until 2024.

Masuaku has established himself as one of the key men in Pellegrini’s side, and arguably goes into this coming season off the back of his best campaign since arriving in England in 2016.

Following the announcement, the 25-year-old took to Twitter to send a message to the West Ham fans. He suggested that he was delighted to commit his future to the Irons, particularly at this stage in what could be a very exciting chapter for the club.
