West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku has told the club’s official website that the players are excited to be playing in their ‘beautiful’ new stadium.
The Hammers moved to the London Stadium this summer, bringing an end to their 112 year long association with the Boleyn Ground.
Sunday afternoon saw them kicking of the new area in their shiny new home with as they took on Bournemouth in the Premier League.

It proved to be a happy start for them too as a late goal from Michail Antonio saw Slaven Bilic’s side to a 1-0 victory.
It is fair to say that the new stadium is a vast upgrade on the Hammers old home and Masuaku says the players are all excited to be playing there.
“It’s a beautiful stadium,” he told the club’s official website.
“It is a great stadium, the pitch, the atmosphere, it really is special and we are really excited to be playing in this stadium.”
West Ham fans
It now remains to be seen if West Ham can mark their first year in the London Stadium with a successful season.
They will certainly be keen to do so having impressed many with their performances last season.
It will be interesting to see where their priorities lie though, especially with them still competing for a place in the Europa League group stages.
