Report: Arsenal are now scouting Brazilian striker, 20 goals already this season

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in signing Arthur Cabral, but the Gunners are facing competition from Tottenham Hotspur among other clubs, according to TEAMtalk.

What’s the story?

TEAMtalk are reporting that Arsenal are scouting the 23-year-old Brazilian striker.

Leeds United, Tottenham, Everton, West Ham United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton are among the clubs who have watched the FC Basel striker in action in recent weeks.

The report has claimed that Leeds wanted to sign the 23-year-old striker in the summer transfer window.

However, the West Yorkshire club were informed at the time that the youngster was unlikely to be granted a work permit as he was playing in the Swiss top flight.

Would Arthur Cabral make Arsenal better?

Cabral is playing extremely well at the moment and is banging in the goals for fun.

The 23-year-old has scored as many as 20 goals already this season, according to Transfermarkt.

Cabral has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in nine Super League games.

The striker scored eight goals and gave four assists in six Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Cabral has scored one goal in two Europa Conference League games.

The Brazilian is a very promising young striker.

We should not forget that he is only 23.

Therefore, Cabral can only grow and develop as a striker in the coming years.

At the right price, the Brazilian would not be a bad signing for Arsenal.
