
Arsenal fans have been very impressed after William Saliba made 113 passes while playing for Nice yesterday.
Nice actually lost their game against Strasbourg 2-0 yesterday, in what was a disappointing defeat for the Ligue 1 side.
However, the Arsenal loanee continues to impress with some stellar performances.
Saliba’s passing was particularly eye catching yesterday, as he made more passes than any other teammate.
The Arsenal youngster also completed 95% of them, which was the highest percentage of any starting player.
The feat certainly caught the eye of Gunners supporters, who feel that he could have a big role to play in Mikel Arteta’s side next season.
Football London have reported that Arteta does indeed plan to give Saliba a chance next term.
Arsenal paid big money to sign the centre-back from France last season, but he is still yet to make his Premier League debut after being constantly overlooked to date.
However, he has really impressed since moving to France, which seems to have helped confirm to Arteta that he is ready for first-team football at the Emirates Stadium.
