Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told his bosses at the Gunners to beat Liverpool and Manchester United to the signing of Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Madrid winger Asensio in the summer transfer window.
AC Milan and Juventus are also claimed to be keen on the 26-year-old Spain international winger, described by Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti as “a player with extraordinary quality” in AS in April 2022.
Mundo Deportivo have reported that Arsenal boss Arteta has told his club’s bosses to get a deal for Asensio done and beat Liverpool and Manchester United among other clubs to the signature of the Spaniard.

Could Arsenal sign Marco Asensio?
In our view, Arsenal could struggle to convince Marco Asensio to leave Real Madrid for the Gunners this summer.
Yes, the winger could leave the La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners, but he may not be keen on moving to Arsenal when he has the likes of Liverpool, AC Milan and Juventus after him.
The Spaniard is used to winning league titles and the Champions League, while Arsenal will play in the Europa League next season and are unlikely to challenge for the Premier League anytime soon.
