Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has ruled out the signing of Jack Wilshere once again, after watching him train at London Colney.
Wilshere trains
Speaking the club’s official website, Arteta was asked whether Arsenal could land Wilshere on a free transfer.
The creative midfielder has been training with the Gunners again as he searches for a new club.
Wilshere has spoken about his love for Arsenal, and for the player himself a return would surely appeal.
But it seems that the move to have him train is simply to help the former England international find his feet again.
“What you should believe is that we want to help him for him to prepare for his next stage, physically and mentally,” Arteta said, when asked if signing Wilshere was a possibility.
“He wants to do his coaching badges again and we are prepared to fulfil all the needs that he wants.

“That’s the idea and it’s not further than that.”
No change of mind
Arteta did say last month that Arsenal signing Wilshere again was unlikely (Daily Mail).
The 29-year-old may have been hoping to change Arteta’s mind with his performances in training.
However, it seems that Arsenal remain intent on having Wilshere simply on the basis of keeping him fit.
When Wilshere will find a new club remains to be seen, as it is rather surprising he still is out of contract.
Wilshere has been without a home for months now, with teams seemingly being reluctant to take the risk on him due to his past injury problems.
