Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that Daniel Ceballos was “terrific” against Leeds United.
Ceballos came into the Arsenal starting lineup at the Emirates Stadium as a replacement for Thomas Partey, who is injured at the moment.
Arteta said that Leeds made it tough for the Real Madrid-owned midfielder to get on the ball and play his natural game, but the 24-year-old still did well in the Premier League game which the home team won 4-2.
The Spaniard told Football.London about Ceballos: “I thought he was terrific Dani. To play the way he’s done against this type of man-marking team, where it’s really difficult to get on the ball, have some time, and exploit the qualities that he has. I think overall he had a really good game.”

Ceballos, on loan from Madrid, had a very good game and played a big role in Arsenal’s win against Leeds in North London.

The Spain international did very well in the first half and produced a wonderful assist for Hector Bellerin’s goal.
