Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that he will not publicly discuss any interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with former Liverpool star Wijnaldum.
Sky Sports have reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in signing the Netherlands international midfielder on loan in the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old himself is reportedly keen on an exit away from PSG.
90min have claimed that Arsenal are among the number of clubs who have been approached over a loan deal.
Arteta, though, has refused to answer questions on Wijnaldum and Arsenal.

In our opinion, Arsenal manager Arteta should make a loan move for Wijnaldum.
We saw from his time at Liverpool just how good he is.
The Dutchman is a dynamic box-to-box midfielder who will make Arsenal better in the middle of the park.
Arsenal are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
And, in our view, Wijnaldum would enhance the Gunners’ chances of accomplishing that feat.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry rates Wijnaldum highly and told RMC Sport in October 2021 that “he still good but he needs structure”.
