Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hailed Nicolas Pepe’s dribbling ability in an interview with BBC Sport.
Pepe scored Arsenal’s final goal in their impressive 3-1 victory over Leicester City, and his performance was very impressive.
The Ivorian tormented Luke Thomas in the first-half, with the Leicester defender having to be withdrawn after struggling so much.
He showed no let up in the second period either, as Arsenal pushed on to claim an eye catching three points at the King Power Stadium.
And Arteta said after the game that he felt Pepe was actually Arsenal’s best dribbler in one v one situations.
“He’s been really consistent and that’s what we want from him,” he enthused.
“He is a player who can create so many opportunities for us. He has something different about him and one v one he is probably the best player we have. But not only him, I think Laca was terrific today and Willian.”
Pepe has now netted three goals in his last six Premier League starts for Arsenal and is proving a major threat.

Unfortunately for the skillful attacker, breaking into the team ahead of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang or Bukayo Saka on a permanent basis looks a major challenge.
Arteta has some seriously strong options out wide, and the competition for places seems to be driving them all on at the moment.
Arsenal are next in action on Saturday when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor, and it will be intriguing to see who is selected to start by the Spanish boss.
