Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Reiss Nelson, as quoted in Football.London.
Arteta has said that it was the right decision to send the Arsenal youngster out on loan in the summer transfer window.
The Spaniard believes that the 21-year-old could flourish at his loan club Feyenoord and has urged the winger – who came through Arsenal’s Hale End academy – to star in the Dutch Eredivisie this season.
Arteta told Football.London about Nelson: “I think it’s a club that’s going to suit him really good.
“A manager that really rates him and believes that his qualities can fit in the model that he wants. He’s going to have the time to play and it’s been a difficult year for him.
“He has an enormous quality and he needs to show it. He’s at the right age now to prove that he can do it and we wish him all the best.”

Starring in the Netherlands
The Eredivie is a very good, competitive and attack-minded domestic league.
If Nelson hits the ground running and works hard, then he could well star for Feyenoord this season.
Feyenoord are a big club who will be determined to improve on their fifth-placed finish last season.

Nelson is quick, skilful and has experience of playing in England with Arsenal and in Germany with Hoffenheim.
Arsenal do have some very good attacking players, and it would have been hard for Nelson to play week in and week out at the Emirates Stadium this season.
The 21-year-old should relish the prospect of playing regularly in the Netherlands and will hope to return to Arsenal next summer as a better and more mature footballer.
