Arsenal have had a terrible start to 2022 thus far, but after the winter break and a trip to Dubai, the Gunners have the chance to put things right against Wolves on Thursday.
However, this game won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination.
Indeed, Bruno Lage’s side are flying at the moment, a win here would put them above Arsenal in the table, while Wolves’ gaffer has just won the Manager of the Month award.
This has all the makings of a very tight fixture, and if Arsenal are to win this one they’ll need to get their team selection spot on.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Gunners’ starting XI for this one.
We think that Mikel Arteta will make three changes from the side that drew with Burnley last time out.
A return to the 4-2-3-1 formation sees Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey come in for Albert Sambi Lokonga and Gabriel Martinelli as Emile Smith Rowe returns to the left side.
Meanwhile, Ben White has shifted back into the centre of defence and Takehiro Tomiyasu has come in at right-back after returning to full training.
Alexandre Lacazette once again leads the line and he’ll want to make amends for missing quite a big chance against Burnley.
