Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Mykhaylo Mudryk and how Mikel Arteta views the 21-year-old.
Mudryk, of course, has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks, but, as of yet, no transfer has come to fruition.
However, according to Jacobs, Mikel Arteta has already been thinking about how he could use Mudryk, and the journalist claims that the Spaniard is of the belief that Mudryk could play on both wings.
The Ukrainian has been largely playing on the left wing, but apparently, Arteta thinks he could be just as effective down the right.

What’s been said?
Jacobs shared Arteta’s theory about Mudryk.
“Arsenal would still like a wide creative minded player which is why they were in the race for Raphinha, and have looked at one or two others as well. Mudryk is a very strong talent because he can play on both sides. He’s a left-winger, but Mikel Arteta firmly believes that he could move over to the right side as well. He’s very composed, he’s fast, and he’s just a natural finisher who is full of assists as well,” Jacobs said.
Modern winger
Arteta thinks that Mudryk is able to play on both wings, and, to be honest, that is pretty much a given for any modern attacker these days.
Indeed, think about any top-quality modern wide player and more often than not they’re capable of playing on both flanks.
Of course, in the age of inverted wingers, it makes more sense to play right footers on the left and vice versa, but most are able to work on both flanks.
Mudryk, at the age of just 21, should be able to be trained to play on the right with ease, especially if he works under a coach as talented as Mikel Arteta.
