Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal’s official website that Bukayo Saka has been ‘doing a lot of unusual things’ recently.

Saka has developed into a key player for Arsenal, and has handled the added pressure that has come with it.

The teenager looks perfectly at home in Arsenal’s starting line-up.

And Arteta admits that it isn’t normal for a player of such tender years to look so comfortable in the first-team.

He said: “It is very unusual but he’s been doing a lot of unusual things. He’s dealing with things at his age in a very unusual way, but that’s why he’s showing what he’s showing, because his maturity is above his age and so is his intelligence as well.”

Saka is arguably Arsenal’s most integral attacking player already.

With Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s influence seemingly on the wane, Saka has really stepped up and proven his talent.

There are now huge hopes of the academy graduate, who is proving to be a major threat to every defence that he faces.

Arteta has spoken about the need to rotate his young players previously, but Saka is becoming a mainstay in Arsenal’s line-up of late, due to his importance to the side.

And he will surely start again tomorrow, when the Gunners face Benfica in the Europa League.
