Arsenal are back in for Pedro Neto as they look to finally sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger in one of the 2024 transfer windows.

Wolverhampton Wanderers wide man Pedro Neto is back on Arsenal’s wish list ahead of the January transfer window.

That is according to The Mirror, who claim that Arsenal would love to sign Neto in 2024.

The Portuguese winger has battled back from major injury problems in the last couple of years to find his best form once again.

Neto has bagged one goal and four assists in seven Premier League games and proved to be a constant threat against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal want Pedro Neto

It’s now suggested that Arsenal are ‘long-term admirers’ of Neto with both Mikel Arteta and Edu thought to be big fans.

The report adds that Arsenal did make an enquiry into signing Neto over the summer but Wolves immediately rejected that move.

Arsenal also wanted Neto in 2022, but Wolves ultimately priced Arsenal out of any deal.

It’s clear that Arsenal absolutely love Neto and it now seems that a January move is in the Gunners’ sights.

Arsenal no doubt see Neto as competition for Bukayo Saka down the right flank but also added depth on the left side too.

The Sunday Mirror (01/10, p66) add that Wolves may demand around £60million for Neto, leaving Arsenal to potentially pay a big fee.

Neto praised amid Arsenal love

Neto may well love a move to Arsenal given his personal connection to the club.

Neto has previously admitted to TalkSPORT that he grew up supporting Arsenal due to Arsene Wenger’s style and approach.

Arteta certainly has Arsenal playing similarly impressive football and Neto may well jump at the chance to join his boyhood club.

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil would certainly be gutted having called Neto ‘absolutely incredible’ for his performance this season.

“He has been absolutely incredible for the six or seven weeks I have been here,” O’Neil said. “I am really pleased with where Pedro is at. He has given absolutely everything and showed a big moment of quality [at Luton] which sums up how he has been for me for the last six weeks,” he added.

If Neto can stay injury-free in the coming months, an Arsenal offer may well arrive in January.
