Arsenal have posted a 10-minute video from behind the scenes of Thursday’s training session ahead of Saturday’s clash against Manchester United – and teenage talent Jack Henry-Francis has been included.
Henry-Francis, 18, is yet to make his senior debut for Arsenal and has not even earned a place in the matchday squad under Mikel Arteta this term. But he has been a regular for the Under-23 side, especially of late.
Before the turn of the year, Henry-Francis was playing mostly in the Under-18 side – only clocking up three Premier League 2 outings. But since 2022 came around, he has nine of the second string’s 10 league games.
He made a substitute appearance in the other, coming on against Crystal Palace in March during a 1-1 draw. Now, his performances seem to have caught the eye of Arteta – promoting him to senior training on Thursday.

Henry-Francis in Arsenal training: Potential first-team inclusion?
Arsenal take on Manchester United on Saturday – a crucial clash in the Gunners’ push for fourth place in the Premier League table. The win over Chelsea sees Arsenal go level on points with Antonio Conte’s side.
Thomas Partey is injured, Albert Sambi Lokonga was not trusted against Chelsea – with Martin Keown claiming Arteta does not believe in him. Elneny and Granit Xhaka are likely to start against Manchester United.
Lokonga will be on the bench, as will Miguel Azeez – but Henry-Francis could be pushing to also get an inclusion and his participation in training suggests as much, ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash.
