The winger has featured for Arsenal in pre-season as he battles back from his latest injury.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told the club’s official website that this upcoming campaign is a very important one for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The winger is currently battling back from his latest injury and has featured against both the MLS All-Stars and Chivas in pre-season so far.
His future at the club has come under scrutiny in recent months as he failed to maintain both form and fitness again last season.

There is a growing sense that he has failed to reach his potential at the Emirates Stadium and they may look to cut their losses in the near future.
And Wenger has admitted that the upcoming season is a very important one for him to prove himself.
“It’s a very important season for him,” he told the club’s official website.
“He has it all Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. That’s why I would like him to get to the level he can go to. Maybe he doesn’t completely believe himself how good he can be and that’s the final step.”

There is no denying that Oxlade-Chamberlain has some convincing to do after disappointing during his time with the Gunners so far.
Granted his development has been hampered by injuries, but when given the chance he has often failed to perform in the Arsenal first-team.
If that does not change next season, it would not be surprising to see them deciding that it is time for him to move on elsewhere.
