With the World Cup now reaching its climax, Arsene Wenger has been speaking about which team will win the 2026 World Cup.
Eight teams now remain in the tournament, with France set to take on Morocco in the first of four quarter-final matches.
Spain, England and Argentina are among the other favourites to win the 2026, but are all facing tricky quarter-final ties.
Ahead of the final eight stage, the former Arsenal boss has been named the team he thinks will win the World Cup in New York on July 19.

Arsene Wenger backs France to win the World Cup
Arsene Wenger has revealed that it is France he is backing to win the World Cup, but he has also suggested that Spain could be the team to stop them.
Kylian Mbappe has so far led Les Bleus to the latter stages of the tournament, with an incredible seven goals in five matches.
Meanwhile, the likes of Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele have also made the French national team one of the most feared footballing nations at the tournament.
When asked which team will win the tournament, Wenger told Toni Kroos’ TikTok live: “France will win the World Cup.
“I know you will say I’m French, but when you analyse the World Cup, the train goes at a certain pace, and you have to be able to get on the train.
“For example, all of the Asian teams are out because they couldn’t cope with the pace and intensity of the game. They don’t have enough technical ability to combat.”
Arsene Wenger warns France about Spain’s technical quality
However, if there is anyone to stop Didier Deschamps’ team from claiming a third world title, Wenger believes it could be Spain: “The real question for me is Spain.”
Spain have players with better technical quality than France, according to the legendary French coach, including Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Rodri.
“If one team is capable now of beating France, it’s Spain because they have a technical level that is better than that of France,” added Wenger.
“They have the quality of teamwork and the culture of collective football that nobody else has in the world at that level.”
The two top nations could face one another in the semis should France defeat Morocco and Spain beat Belgium.
