The long-serving Gunners boss looks set to leave at the end of the season.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that it is not his job to pick his successor at the club.
The Gunners boss celebrated 20 years in charge of the club this week, the second-longest stint of all the managers in the Premier League era.
He is entering the final year of his current contract this season and so far the indications have been that he will not be extending his stay at the Emirates.

Talk of who will replace him has been rife, with several names having already been suggested as potential successors.
The widely-held belief is that Wenger will have some role to play in the process but he has insisted otherwise.
“I will not give you any name because I believe it would put the guy under big pressure,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I’m pragmatic and I do not think it is my job to choose the next manager. My job is to perform for Arsenal and it’s the board’s responsibility to find the next manager. If they ask my opinion I would give it.”

It will certainly be interesting to see who Arsenal bring in as manager once Wenger does eventually depart.
Given the big-name managers currently in the Premier League, the Gunners may feel it is necessary to try and bring their own high-calibre manager to the club.
That is certainly what the Arsenal faithful would like to see happen, although it is debatable whether the Arsenal board would be willing to spend the big money needed to secure such an appointment.
