Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud has been linked with Everton and West Ham United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested to The Daily Mail that Olivier Giroud will not leave the club in the summer transfer window.

Giroud has been linked with moves away from Arsenal this summer, with The Mirror crediting Everton and West Ham United with interest in the France international striker.

It has also been reported that the Gunners want more than £30 million in order to part company with the 30-year-old, who scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 11 Premier League starts for the North London outfit last season.

Arsenal manager Wenger, though, has suggested that he will not sell the former Montpellier star in the summer transfer window.

“We extended his contract last year,” Wenger told The Daily Mail about Giroud. “Our resolution is clear.

“He’s been great value to the squad and I think he is a great lover of the club. He’s always been very determined to stay.”

Giroud is a good striker and has proved himself in the Premier League, and he would be a good signing for Everton or West Ham.

However, one can understand why Wenger wants to keep him. With Arsenal having signed star forward Alexandre Lacazette this summer, Giroud’s presence in the team is only going to enhance their chances of winning the Premier League title next season.
