Arsenal completed their business early this summer with the likes of Bernd Leno and Lucas Torriera making the switch to north London.

Arsenal fans will be happy with their summer business, as new manager Unai Emery gets set for his first competitive match in charge, welcoming champions Manchester City to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

The former Sevilla boss replaces Arsene Wenger, who had served the Gunners for 22 years before retiring in May, and will be eager to demonstrate his abilities week in, week out.

Untraditionally, Arsenal completed their business early this summer, which will give those signings a headstart as they look to build a rapport with their teammates. Fans will be eager to see the new faces in action and we take a look at the ins and outs at the Emirates:

Prediction 2018/19

The signings of Lucas Torriera, Sokratis and Bernd Leno will all strengthen the Arsenal starting line-up, with Matteo Guendouzi looking like a very promising player.

With the talent that still exists at the Emirates, it is hard not to see Arsenal at least battling it out for the top four come May but Emery will know how tough it will be to cement a place.

Jack Wilshere is the main departure from north London this summer and fans will wish him every success in his new venture at West Ham United. Some at Arsenal still question the club’s decision to let him go but Lucas Torriera looks a ready-made replacement.

All in all, expect Arsenal to go one better than last season and finish fifth in Emery’s debut season. It is not what the fans want in an ideal world but a new revolution is brewing in north London and it will take time before coming to fruition.
