The Arsenal assistant boss is high in the betting to replace Paul Lambert at Stoke City.

Steve Bould, the Arsenal assistant manager, is a surprise contender to be Stoke City’s next manager with Sky Bet.
Bould is 8/1 to succeed Paul Lambert at the Bet365 Stadium, behind only Mick McCarthy (6/1), the former Ipswich Town manager, and David Moyes (1/2), who is the odds on favourite after leaving West Ham United.

The 55-year-old, who hails from Stoke-on-Trent and started his playing career with the Potters, is said to be waiting to see who Arsenal appoint as Arsene Wenger’s successor before deciding whether or not to continue in his role at the Emirates Stadium.
However, a lack of management experience could hinder Bould’s chances of a return to his former club, having only worked within Arsenal’s academy before being promoted to his current position.
Stoke sacked Lambert six months into a three-and-a-half year deal on Friday afternoon, after he failed to halt their slide into the Championship.

The Sun reports the Staffordshire side want Moyes to replace his fellow Scot, two days after he left West Ham.
Could Arsenal’s Bould succeed Lambert at Stoke, or will it be the ex West Ham boss Moyes?
