With everything that’s happened this week, it’s been easy to forget that Arsenal are playing Everton on Friday evening.

Arsenal don’t have much to play for in the Premier League anymore. European qualification is seemingly out of reach, while they’re safe from relegation, despite being tipped to go down earlier in the season.
Mikel Arteta will surely have one eye on next Thursday’s Europa League clash heading into this game, so with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Arsenal’s starting XI vs Everton.
We think that Arteta won’t be making wholesale changes for this one.
The team that started against Fulham last week was already heavily rotated, so we think that the Arsenal boss may continue with something similar.
The back five remains exactly the same from the game against the Cottagers, as does the midfield pivot.
The big changes come in the attack. Nicolas Pepe comes in for Gabriel Martinelli, while Martin Odegaard remains on the bench despite returning to training earlier this week.
Eddie Nketiah gets a start after his last-gasp goal against Fulham last week with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both set to miss this one.
