Arsenal may have seen Emile Smith Rowe emerge as a first-team star in recent weeks, but their search for creativity isn’t over yet.
Willian and Nicolas Pepe continue to struggle for consistency, so placing the creative burden on three youngsters in Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli seems extreme.
Bringing in another creative option could be a priority either his month or in the summer, and a new name is being linked with a move to North London.
The Guardian report that Arsenal are interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk star Manor Solomon, with a summer move being eyed up.
Solomon, 21, can play on either flank or as a number 10, and he has bagged 12 goals as well as seven assists in 62 games for Shakhtar.
The Israeli talent is quick and skilful, whilst he has potential for the future – something Arsenal fans would surely love given that Willian looks to be past his best.
Solomon could have made a Premier League move in 2017, telling The Guardian in November 2020 that Manchester City ‘really wanted’ to sign him, but the deal fell through.

Pep Guardiola is thought to be a fan of Solomon, and City seemingly saw potential in him even when he was playing for Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Who was City’s assistant boss at that time? None other than Mikel Arteta, the current Arsenal manager.
Maybe Solomon is a player that Arteta is aware of from his time working with Guardiola, and Arsenal could finally give Solomon his big Premier League move – almost four years since missing out with City.
