Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur did plenty of summer business, but they’re already being linked with more additions in 2021.

The two North London clubs will be chasing Champions League qualification this season, and that could lead to exciting signings.

Intriguingly, two pursuits could and up hinging on RB Leipzig and what they decide to do in the transfer market next year.

Last week, Bild reported that Leipzig are now expected to sign Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai in 2021, utilising their links with their sister club.

If they pull off a deal for the Hungarian star, Arsenal could be left gutted given that Football.London claim they’re interested in a deal.

As if that isn’t bad enough, Szoboszlai to Leipzig may just push Marcel Sabitzer one step closer to the exit door – and possibly nearer to Tottenham.

Sport Bild claim that Tottenham are interested in signing Sabitzer in 2021, adding a versatile midfield option to Jose Mourinho’s squad.

The Austrian is approaching the final 18 months of his Leipzig contract, so his price tag is decreasing, with Szoboszlai making sense as a possible replacement.

Sabiter can operate centrally or out wide, just like Szoboszlai, and it would be a very Leipzig move to sell Sabitzer at nearly 27 to then replace him with a younger option.

This would be a dream situation for Spurs; sign a Mourinho target whilst possibly killing off Arsenal’s hopes of signing a hot prospect in Szoboszlai in what could be a nightmare for the Gunners.
