Leicester City should make a move for the reportedly available Arsenal forward.

Leicester boss Claude Puel will be desperate to bolster his attacking ranks at the King Power Stadium this summer, with more guile and nouse required in the final third this season.

The Foxes do have Jamie Vardy of course, but aside from the England international, they are fairly thin on the ground, what with Islam Slimani facing an uncertain future with the club.

With this in mind, Leicester should consider making a move for Arsenal forward Lucas Perez, who could be available for as little as £7 million this summer, according to Italian media outlet Corriere di Roma.

The 29-year-old joined the Gunners from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £17.1 million, but he has failed to establish himself at the Emirates.

That isn’t to say that he doesn’t still have a lot to offer at the very highest level, though.

Perez is incredibly skilful, and possesses exceptional technique. He would provide Leicester with something entirely different in the final third, and his ability to carve out openings would surely help bring the best out of Vardy.

In today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market, £7 million for a player with Perez’s ability has to be considered as nothing other than an absolute steal, and Puel should not hesitate to bring the Arsenal forward to Leicester this summer.
