Arsenal star Danny Welbeck will leave the club in the summer as a free agent but who should he choose as his next club?

The former Manchester United star was honoured by the Gunners for his services to the club along with the retiring Petr Cech and Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey last weekend. This confirmed the 28-year-old’s departure from the club on completion of his current contract at the club in the summer.
Welbeck is currently out injured due to an ankle injury he suffered in a Europa League tie against Sporting Lisbon but the forward has no shortage of potential suitors.
A decision over his next club will surely be a difficult one but Welbeck should opt for a move to the Merseyside if given the choice.
Everton’s need for a new striker has been evident this season with the failures of Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin costing the club’s chances of a top seven finish. Signing Welbeck would be a brilliant move for the Toffees, especially due to the players who will be playing around him next season.

A front three of Bernard, Welbeck and Richarlison all in front of Gylfi Sigurdsson would make Everton’s attack incredibly fluid. All four players have the ability to interchange their positions throughout the game which will give a number of tactical options to Marco Silva next season.
Welbeck’s ability to play on either wing or with another striker up front will come in as an added bonus for the Toffees should they sign him in the summer.
