Tottenham have been linked to struggling Arsenal defender in the past.

Calum Chambers’ poor spell at Fulham is getting worse with fans lambasting the defender’s woeful performance against Cardiff City.
It was a new low for the player signed for £16 million by Arsene Wenger in 2014.
Arsenal had high hopes for him but Chambers’ career has gone downhill and chances of making it at The Emirates look slim, with Unai Emery not impressed.
Unless Chambers can turn it around, an exit looks inevitable, but where does he go from here?
It’s unthinkable most of Arsenal’s rivals would consider Chambers, while his performances for Fulham are not exactly putting himself in the shop window.
Chambers’ best hope may be to make a highly controversial switch across North London to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Mail reported last year that Mauricio Pochettino was keen on a move for Chambers, having worked with him at Southampton.

Chambers told the Daily Echo in 2014 that he owed him everything. He said: “Everything. He gave me my chance and I can’t thank him enough for that.
“He has given a lot of youngsters the opportunity and he is a fantastic manager for us.”
It was Chambers’ spell under Pochettino as a teenager which earned him his move to Arsenal.
Chambers could take a lesser move away from the Gunners, to a mid-table side, but without the right coach he could be left floundering as he is at Fulham.
If Mauricio Pochettino is still keen, which is a big if, he could turn the former England international’s career around.
It would be a drastic step for the Arsenal player to take to join Spurs, but it might also be his best chance to kick on.
