The Arsenal forward is reportedly on Everton’s radar.

Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal celebrates scoring his sides first goal during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Sunderland at Emirates Stadium on May 16, 2017 in London, England.

Gunners ace Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a shock move to Goodison Park, according to the Sun, with the club’s owner Farhad Moshiri thought to be lining up a £30 million offer for the Chilean in January.

The 28-year-old’s contract with Arsenal is due to expire in the summer of 2018, where he will be able to leave the club on a free transfer, should he fail to agree terms on a new deal between now and then.

And Everton are obviously trying to take advantage of that fact, by trying to tempt the north London outfit into selling in January, rather than lose him for nothing next year, if the Sun’s report is accurate of course.

Sanchez though, would be mad to join the currently manager-less Blues.

If he does in fact leave Arsenal next summer, he will surely have his pick of Europe’s most elite clubs. He will be 29 in December, and his next contract will surely be his last ‘big one’, so why on earth would he consider joining Everton, who are in such disarray at the moment?

The Chile international has just entered the absolute prime years of his career, and he must be absolutely desperate to add a Champions League winner’s medal to his collection of honours before he hangs up his boots.

That will certainly not happen at Goodison Park in the next half-decade, so unless Sanchez is totally obsessed by money, and he receives a gargantuan offer from the Toffees in January, he will surely not be upping sticks at the Emirates just yet.
