Jose Mourinho’s side were criticised for being negative this afternoon.
Chelsea have seemingly sealed the Premier League title today after a 0-0 draw with nearest rivals Arsenal at The Emirates.
The Gunners realistically needed a win if they were going to put in a late surge for the title.
But Jose Mourinho’s side set up defensively to claim a comfortable draw in the end and are now closing in on another Premier League title.
However Chelsea’s tactics seemed to cause a bit of a stir. The Blues were negative in the game and Arsenal fans clearly began chanting ‘boring, boring Chelsea’ during the game.
It was a fact not missed by a current Arsenal youth-team player.
Jack Jebb does not look like making the grade at Arsenal. He has not developed since he first burst onto the scene and had a loan spell at Stevenage derailed by knee trouble this season.
But he is still an Arsenal boy, as he showed with this Tweet:
Of course Chelsea won’t mind and Jose Mourinho will not lose a wink of sleep over the criticism. They are on course for the title, no matter how they got there, that will go down in the record books.
