Arsenal want Yeremy Pino and a deal for the Villarreal winger could work absolutely perfectly for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Gunners may have a quality right winger in Bukayo Saka but Mikel Arteta seemingly fancies adding some more competition.

Nicolas Pepe’s move to Arsenal just hasn’t worked out and the Ivorian may well move on before the end of the transfer window.

Arsenal missed out on Raphinha earlier this summer for that role, and Mikel Arteta may now move for a fellow Spaniard.

Arsenal want Yeremy Pino

Villarreal winger Pino is thought to be the next big target for Arsenal having shown major promise in Spain.

El Periodico Mediterraneo – one of the leading sources in the Villarreal region – report that Mikel Arteta loves Pino and wants him at Arsenal.

It’s noted that Arsenal may now go and spend around €50million (£42million) on Pino, with Villarreal needing the money to unlock their own transfer business.

At the very bottom of the article, it’s stated that Villarreal could be looking to bring in that cash to ‘balance their finances’ and go for a player like Giovani Lo Celso.

Tottenham midfielder Lo Celso spent the second half of last season on loan at Villarreal and impressed under Unai Emery.

Lo Celso wasn’t wanted under Antonio Conte but, just as he did with Real Betis before, he showed his quality in Spain.

Villarreal have wanted Lo Celso permanently ever since but just haven’t been able to thrash out a deal with Tottenham.

The belief now is that Arsenal’s money for Pino would help Villarreal go and give some of the windfall to Tottenham for Lo Celso.

Lo Celso is an outcast at Tottenham with Conte deciding to exclude him from the Tottenham first team setup.

Teams in Italy are very interested in Lo Celso but Villarreal may finally have a route to signing him – if Arsenal pull the trigger on a deal for Pino.
