Arsenal talent Amario Cozier-Duberry has named Martin Odegaard as a player who is encouraging the Hale End academy star in training, with many first-team players rating the 17-year-old.
Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, the teenage wonderkid was asked about his experiences with Mikel Arteta’s senior squad as Cozier-Duberry looks to break into the first-team mould, with the winger highly-rated by both pundits and supporters.
The winger has often been touted as Arsenal’s next Bukayo Saka based on his style of play and dangerous attacking patterns at youth level. And many believe that Cozier-Duberry is not far off from making his senior debut having been around the first-team for quite some time.
Cozier-Duberry was part of the squad that travel to Dubai during the 2022 FIFA World Cup break, with the youngster also impressing massively for Arsenal in their mid-season friendly against Juventus, with the forward only getting better with each passing week.

Indeed, Cozier-Duberry could be in contention to feature for Arsenal this week against Manchester City, and with the forward revealing that several senior players, including Odegaard, are encouraging the winger in training, a debut could soon be on the cards.
The winger said: “The trip to Dubai really developed me as a player and to play against Lyon and AC Milan was an awesome opportunity. Everyone in the first-team has been brilliant but a special shoutout goes to Bukayo, Eddie, and Martin Odegaard who constantly encourage me.”
Odegaard encouraging Cozier-Duberry is a huge sign of respect

Arsenal’s academy has been the lifeblood of Arteta’s revolution of the club in recent years, with Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah all regulars for the Gunners. And with Cozier-Duberry now coming through, Odegaard being a fan of the winger is a huge sign of what is to come for the youngster.
Whilst chances could be limited this season due to Arsenal’s Premier League title push, Cozier-Duberry could break into the senior team next season if Arteta deems the forward good enough to play in the League Cup or even against a lesser team in the UEFA Champions League.
