Arsenal wanted Pedro Neto last summer and the Wolverhampton Wanderers has ramped up his return from injury against the Gunner Under-21’s.
Neto is a name that Arsenal fans are very familiar with now.
In the final days of the summer transfer window, The Athletic noted that Neto had emerged as Arsenal’s top target.
Talks were held with agent Jorge Mendes but Arsenal just weren’t able to get a deal done.
The Express claimed in January that Arsenal still had a ‘firm interest’ in signing Wolves star Neto after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk.
A major problem has been that Neto suffered another injury issue this season, picking up an ankle blow in October.
That injury may well have left Arsenal a little cautious in January, but you can be sure that he will still be on Edu’s radar.

Pedro Neto scores against Arsenal Under-21’s
Neto is now working his way back to fitness and will soon hope to join Wolves in their fight to secure Premier League survival.
The Portuguese wide man started for Wolves Under-21’s against Arsenal Under-21’s on Monday afternoon and wasted no time finding his shooting boots.
Neto scored inside eight minutes to set Wolves on their way to a 2-0 win over the Gunners.
Neto pounced to snatch the ball from Arsenal as they attempted to play out from the back before driving forward and slamming a left-footed strike into the net.
This was Neto’s first game since that injury in October and he will be delighted with his immediate impact.
Look, it’s only Under-21 football but this was a reminder – if Arsenal really needed one – that Neto has outstanding quality in his locker.
Injuries haven’t been kind to Neto in recent times and it would be great to see the 22-year-old put together a consistent run of games again.
Once he does that, don’t be surprised to see Arsenal come knocking once again for the winger.
