Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are willing to pay €40 million (£35.27 million) to sign Gabri Veiga, and while Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are also ready to pay that amount, the Spanish central midfielder reportedly finds the Gunners most attractive.
Gabri Veiga reportedly tempted by Arsenal
That’s according to AS, who have claimed that Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City as well as AC Milan are interested in signing Veiga from Celta de Vigo in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, United and City all are ready to pay the youngster’s release clause of €40 million (£35.27 million).
AS have reported that although Real Madrid’s name have been mentioned in regard to a summer move for the 20-year-old central midfielder, the player’s camp have heard nothing.
And, according to the Spanish publication, in the absence of interest from Madrid, “the club that attracts” that midfielder “the most is Arsenal”.
AS have described Veiga as “a phenomenon”.

HITC verdict: Exciting for the Gunners
In our view, if Arsenal are willing to pay the release clause of Gabri Veiga, then the midfielder will move to the Emirates Stadium.
It seems that the 20-year-old central midfielder is keen on a move to Arsenal.
Now, of course, the Spaniard will know that he will have to find for his place in the Arsenal starting lineup, but he is good enough to do that.
Veiga has made 18 starts and seven substitute appearances in La Liga for Celta so far this season.
The youngster has scored nine goals and given three assists in those games.
