Arsenal youngster Karl Hein will be part of manager Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad next season, according to The Athletic.

The Athletic have reported this morning that Arsenal are planning to promote Estonia international goalkeeper Hein to the first-team squad for next season.

The report has claimed that Arsenal will send Arthur Okonkwo out on loan for next season and promote Hein in his place.

The 20-year-old, who has been on the books of Arsenal since 2018, will be the third-choice goalkeeper behind Aaron Ramsdale and Matt Turner at the Emirates Stadium.

Exciting for Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein

In our view, Karl Hein should be excited at the prospect of being a regular in the Arsenal first-team squad for next season.

We know that the 20-year-old is a very good goalkeeper who is a regular for Estonia, having earned 12 caps already for his country.

Now, of course, Ramsdale is the number one goal for Arsenal, and that is not going to change anytime soon.

However, working closely with Arteta and the Arsenal coaching staff would help Hein.

The youngster would learn a lot as well from working with the likes of Ramsdale and Turner and training with them on a regular basis.
