Wolves star had a quiet night.

Nuno Espirito Santo the manager

Wolves dominated a 3-1 win against Arsenal which proved far easier than they might have anticipated.

Nuno Santo’s side were three goals up by half-time, with the game effectively over.

Arsenal’s away day struggles have been well documented, but it was surprising jus how poor they were.

The player who had the easiest night was centre-back Conor Coady.

Coady might have anticipated a tough game up against Alexandre Lacazette, with Mesut Ozil in behind him.

Instead it was remarkably straightforward.

Coady touched the ball only 15 times, with Arsenal failing to test him.

Arsenal’s defender by comparison were kept busy by Wolves. Laurent Koscielny touched the ball 91 times.

Unlike an attacker or midfielder, a low touch count for a centre-back is a positive, showing that they were barely needed.

Arsenal’s failure to put Coady under any type of pressure shows just how badly they failed, on a night they would rather forget.
