Arsenal summer transfer target Serge Gnabry has posted on Instagram ‘it means everything’ that he has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The Germany international was subject of Premier League interest this summer, with one-year left remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena.

Gnabry’s former side Arsenal were one of the clubs keen to bring him back to north London, but instead, the 27-year-old has signed a new deal until 2026 and he posted this message on his IG following that call.

WILL GNABRY RETURN TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE?

The likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah struggled during their first stints in the Premier League, before going back out, coming back and then thriving.

When Gnabry was in England, he just couldn’t make the cut in Arsenal colours, as well as his now infamous loan spell under Tony Pulis at West Brom.

There is no doubt that the all-action forward is a much different player now, with Rio Ferdinand labelling the player ‘world-class’.

The Premier League would be a better place if Gnabry returns because the explosive and goalscoring touch he has found to his game would light up the league.

Plus, with the Gunners wanting to get back into the Champions League, players like Gnabry are the ones they want, but they just don’t have that platform anymore.

Either way, if Gnabry were to return were it all started, then fans at the Emirates will have to wait a few more years because of his recent new deal.
