Saturday afternoon sees Arsenal take on Chelsea in arguably the most eye-catching game of the weekend.

It has been a good start to the season for both sides, with them both sitting on 10 points from their first five games.

Arsene Wenger’s side will be keen to end their recent poor form against their rivals, who have they have failed to beat in the league since October 2011.

They come up against a Chelsea team determined to prove a point, though, after they were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool at Stamford Bridge last week.

Two key players in the game will be attacking midfielders Mesut Ozil and Oscar, so we took a look at how they have compared so far this season.

And it turns out the Arsenal man has been the better, although only by a narrow margin as he came out on top in five of the eight areas looked at.

So far this season he has managed more accurate passes and more successful final third passes per game than the Chelsea star.

He also has also managed to open his account with one goal, while Oscar is yet to get off the mark.

His passing has been noticeably better as he has managed a better overall passing accuracy, registering 90% success compared to Oscar’s tally of 84%.

It appears he has been more involved too, posting more touches per game, although the Chelsea man has posted fewer unsuccessful touches per game.

The Brazilian has also been more creative, registering the one assist and posting more key passes per game than Ozil has managed.
