Arsenal have been chasing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic – and he has now hit a ridiculous record in Italy, matching Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arsenal interest in Vlahovic deal
You can hardly blame Arsenal for wanting to sign a new striker.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s days look numbered whilst Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract next summer.
Arsenal may need to spend big to find the goalscorer they want, with Vlahovic believed to be a target.
Sport Mediaset claim that Arsenal are hoping to convince Vlahovic into making a huge €80million (£68million) move.
A host of Italian clubs are keen too, but Arsenal are right in the race for the Serbian in a potential big-money transfer.
Vlahovic matches Ronaldo record – from a Torreira assist
Fiorentina took on Sassuolo earlier today and were 2-0 down at half time.

Vlahovic stepped up to get Fiorentina back into the game though, slotting home from a Lucas Torreira pass.
That’s right, Arsenal loanee Torreira set up possible future Gunner Vlahovic. Torreira then bagged the equaliser in a superb display to seal 2-2 draw.
That goal means Vlahovic has now matched Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2020 record of 33 Serie A goals in a calendar year – the most since 1961.
That’s astonishing from Vlahovic, as he continues to show that he can be one of the top strikers around – and exactly what Arsenal want him.
