Cesc Fabregas has praised Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko on Sky Sports Premier League (5:25pm, 6:58pm, January 22, 2023) for his performance against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Zinchenko started at left-back for Arsenal, and former Gunners midfielder Fabregas was hugely impressed by the 26-year-old Ukraine international, who can also operate as a midfielder.
Arsenal won the Premier League match against Manchester United 3-2 at home.
Fabregas noted how Zinchenko, who joined Arsenal from defending champions Manchester City in the summer of 2022, played his role in Eddie Nketiah’s first goal against the Red Devils.

The former Arsenal midfielder said after the match: “Zinchenko, what a game! The way he plays his football as a left-back, I know exactly why Arteta brought him in for things like that.”
