Arsenal face Leicester City in a crucial Premier League clash on Wednesday.

To be played on Wednesday 26th April 2017 at 19:45. Venue: Emirates Stadium, London

Odds: Arsenal 3/5, Draw 7/2, Leicester 4/1

Arsenal welcome Leicester City in a crucial Premier League clash on Wednesday.

The Gunners are seventh in the Premier League with 57 points, nine points behind 3rd placed Liverpool. However, they have played three games less, so they have a high chance of getting into the top four, should they win those matches.

They have been inconsistent with their league performances in recent months, but with two consecutive wins (including the 2-1 victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup) they are high on confidence.

Arsenal are undefeated in 13 of their last 14 home matches in the Premier League.

Santi Cazorla, Lucas Perez, and David Ospina are long term absentees. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is doubtful for this game after picking up a minor injury at Wembley.

Shkodran Mustafi is expected to be out again with a thigh injury. Danny Welbeck could return to the side. Hector Bellerin could also get a recall to the starting XI.

Leicester, on the other hand, will be looking to continue their league resurgence under Craig Shakespeare on Wednesday.

The Foxes have won five of their last seven league matches, but are winless in their last four matches.

Shakespeare has confirmed that Wes Morgan won’t be available for the match with hamstring problems. Islam Slimani has a groin strain and will miss the game as well. Papy Mendy has had an operation on his ankle and he will be out for the rest of the season.

Leicester have failed to win 17 of their last 18 matches. However, with the Foxes having had almost 10 days rest by the time this match starts, they would be in a better shape to give Arsenal a tough fight.
