The two sides drew 3-3 in a scintillating game on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal’s players weren’t the only ones left with egg on their faces following the 3-3 draw with West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners had looked to be on the way to a comfortable victory as they went into a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Instead, Andy Carroll’s heroics saw that quickly turned around as he scored his second career hattrick to his side into a 3-2 lead.

Laurent Koscielny managed to level the scores once again after that, with a point arguably the least both sides deserved in a scintillating game of football.

At 2-0 up the Arsenal players were happily celebrating, and they weren’t alone, as their official Twitter account revelled in the lead.

The focus of their attention was midfielder Mesut Ozil, who bagged the opener in their game, with them posting a ‘We’ve got Ozil’ celebratory tweet.

The post was obviously a cheeky tongue in cheek dig at their opponents, with the song stolen from their rivals’ version concocted for star man Dimitri Payet.

Their joy was short lived though as things quickly turned around in the game and the momentum swung in favour of the hosts.

Koscielny eventually managed to save the day but it shows you should never be too quick to celebrate when it comes to football, especially in a derby.
