Arsenal selling Francis Coquelin to Valencia could benefit Tottenham.

Arsenal are on the verge of selling Francis Coquelin to Spanish side Valencia, according to The Sun.
Coquelin is out of favour at Arsenal and has been out of form for the past year.
Premier League side West Ham are also interested but Valencia are most keen – and this could end up benefiting Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham.
This is due to Spurs’ interest in Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has played a starring role at Valencia this season.

While Valencia would be in pole position to sign the defensive midfielder, Coquelin moving the the Mestalla would calm their need to sign Kondogbia, adding competition for places.
Arsenal cashing in on Coquelin could then give Spurs’ hopes of signing the midfielder a boost.
Tottenham were reportedly eyeing Kondogbia as a replacement for Mousa Dembele.
The Frenchman has scored three goals and provided one assist this season.
