Arsenal want Pepe but face a battle with Chelsea for the Porto winger’s signature – and he could cost around £65million to sign in 2023.
We have seen many rumours surrounding Arsenal and the potential addition of a new winger.
Shakhtar Donetsk ace Mykhaylo Mudryk appears to be a top target whilst there have also been links to Orlando City star Facundo Torres.
Nicolas Pepe appears to have no future at Arsenal but the Gunners could yet end up replacing him with his namesake…

Arsenal want Pepe
Portuguese newspaper Record claim that Arsenal fancy signing Porto winger Pepe.
A Bola reported over the summer that Arsenal were keen signing Pepe so this rumour keeps coming up.
Back then, it was suggested that Pepe had a £51million release clause in his contract, but he has since signed a new deal.
That means Pepe’s release clause is now up to €75million (£65million) and Porto are planning to stick to that valuation.
It’s claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on signing Pepe but know Porto are standing firm.
Pepe, 25, joined Porto from Gremio in 2021 and helped the Portuguese side win the Liga NOS title last season.
Six goals and six assists may not look all that impressive but Pepe showed promise with his blistering pace.
Primarily a right-sided winger, Pepe has really shown his versatility this season having even played as a right back.
Sergio Conceicao’s tactical idea has paid off with Pepe turning in impressive displays, and he has even deployed the Brazilian as a number 10 too.
Few players can say that they can play as a right back, right winger and number 10 but Pepe can seemingly do it all.
The Porto star is now a name to keep an eye on with Arsenal possibly seeing immense versatility in the Brazilian talent – and we know how Edu loves to sign players from his homeland.
