Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha would love to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
O’Rourke has told GiveMeSport that if Arsenal came for Zaha at the end of the season, then the former Manchester United winger would be delighted to make the switch.
The 30-year-old, described as “incredible” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on Sky Sports in March 2023 – is out of contract at Palace at the end of the season.
No new deal is in place at the moment.
Earlier this month, Foot Mercato claimed that Arsenal are in the running for Zaha in the summer transfer window.
Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha stance amid Arsenal interest
O’Rourke said: “Any player right now would be excited by the prospect of joining Arsenal.
“There’s going to be Champions League football next season and they could be potential title winners as well.
“They’re a club really going places under Mikel Arteta as well and it’s a good young squad there. I think they’ll just get better and better.
“So yeah, I’m sure Zaha, if Arsenal did come back and show interest in him, it’s a move he would seriously consider.”

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Wilfried Zaha could sign for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Yes, the winger is not young, but he is hugely experienced and would be able to make an immediate impact at the Gunners.
After all, Arsenal will aim to win the Premier League title next season as well as compete in the UEFA Champions League.
Yes, the young players have been massive for the Gunners this season, but the North London club need to bring in experienced players at the top of their game as well to be successful.
