Goal journalist Charles Watts has reported on Twitter that Jakub Kiwior is on the verge of joining Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal from Serie A club Spezia in the January transfer window.
Watts has reported that Kiwior was meeting his new Arsenal teammates at London Colney today and was putting finishing touches to his transfer.
Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano had reported on Twitter that the 22-year-old Poland international centre-back was due to undergo a medical ahead of €25 million (£22 million) move.
Arsenal to sign Jakub Kiwior

Exciting
In our view, it is very exciting for Arsenal fans that they are about to make yet another signing in the January transfer window.
The Gunners have already brought in Belgium international winger Leandro Trossard from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.
And now it seems that Arsenal are going to secure the services of Jakub Kiwior.
Kiwior is one of the best young centre-backs in Serie A, and he would make Arsenal a better squad.
Now, we do not expect the Poland international centre-back to go straight into the Arsenal starting lineup ahead of Gabriel or William Saliba.
However, Kiwior will provide cover for Gabriel as another left-footed centre-back at the Gunners.
