The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that last season’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid are interested in signing Vlahovic from Juventus in the summer of 2023.
And the Serbia international striker himself wants to switch to the Santiago Bernabeu and has told his agent that he wants to play for the Spanish and European giants.
Blow for Arsenal
This will come as a blow for Arsenal, who have also been linked with the 23-year-old £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker.
The Times reported on December 31, 2022 that Arsenal were interested in signing Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
According to CMW in January 2023, Arsenal planned to make a bid for Juventus striker Vlahovic this month with the money they were going to spend on Mykhailo Mudryk before the Ukraine international winger joined Chelsea.
Today is January transfer deadline day, and the Gunners have not made any move for the 23-year-old yet.
