AC Milan could join the race for Arsenal target and Chelsea attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.

The report has claim that defending Serie A champions Milan wanted to sign Sterling before he left Manchester City for Chelsea in the summer of 2022.

Although the England international, who can also operate as a winger, is not looking to leave the Blues, clubs, including Milan, could show interest in the £350,000-a-week (SalarySport).

Earlier this week, 90min reported that Arsenal are considering a move for Sterling in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly a fan of the former Liverpool winger, who is not looking to force a move out of Chelsea.

Arsenal over AC Milan for Raheem Sterling

In our view, if Raheem Sterling did leave Chelsea at the end of the season, then it is likely that he would join Arsenal over AC Milan.

Chelsea will surely want to get back the £47.5 million (Sky Sports) transfer fee they paid to Manchester City for the 28-year-old, described as “world-class talent” by Blues co-owner Todd Boehly on the club’s official website in July 2022.

Moreover, Arsenal are also likely to be able to meet Sterling’s wage demands.
