Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk has agreed personal terms with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, which means that Graham Potter’s Chelsea could miss out on him, according to Sport Arena.
Chelsea target Mykhailo Mudryk agrees Arsenal personal terms
The report has claimed that Mudryk has agreed a five-year contract with Arsenal, who have had a bid of £55 million for the winger turned down and are now prepared to make a new offer.
This latest development on the future of the Ukraine international will come as a blow for Chelsea.
That’s because the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have also been linked with Mudryk.
The Guardian reported last week that Chelsea could make a bid for the Shakhtar winger if they are unable to sign Argentina international midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in the January transfer window.

Exciting for the Gunners
In our opinion, Arsenal fans should be very excited about the prospect of Mykhailo Mudryk moving to the Emirates Stadium given this latest development.
The winger is clearly keen on a move to Mikel Arteta’s side, and Arsenal are in talks with his club Shakhtar to get a deal done.
Such transfers take time, and we should not expect a deal to be done overnight.
However, it now does look very likely that Arsenal and Shakhtar will eventually find an agreement over Mudryk.
