Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have held fresh talks with Atletico Madrid over a potential move for Joao Felix in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The report, published at 12:44am on Saturday, has claimed that Arsenal held more talks with Atletico over Felix yesterday.
The Gunners are keen on signing the £120 million Portugal international forward on a loan deal.
Atletico want a total fee of £16 million to send the 23-year-old out on loan, and Arsenal are trying to reduce that sum, according to the report.
Arsenal should pay £16m for Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix
In our view, if £16 million is what it takes for Arsenal to sign Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, then they should get a deal done.

Now.
Felix is one of the best young forward players around, and he would make Arsenal better and more potent in attack.
The Portugal international is a very mobile player can play across the attackline.
Remember, Gabriel Jesus is injured at the moment, so Arsenal could do with another attacking player.
Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, and a player of Felix’s quality and ability would enhance the Gunners’ chances of doing just that.
